First Backpacking Trip: What we brought and how we packed it

I really thought I would be carrying 50 pounds, on my back, as I have a tendency to over pack. Lucky enough, that was not the case. I think what it came down to was the fact that I was traveling with some. This came in real handy, as one of use carried the supplies, while the other carried all the food.
